Chartreuse is a color that is on most of the baits the Cajuns use,...one reason is when you take a live shrimp in LA and pinch the tail,..they have chartreuse tips. The shrimp tail tips around our state are typically red.
But the biggest reason for a chartreuse bait was because I thought with cloudy conditions overhead and anticipating cloudy wada,...I went bright,..not that it mattered  .
