That is a great area. Lots of docks that hold Snook and Trout under the lights. During the day you can hit Big Pass for Snook. This year I have seen several schools of beach Snook over 40+ fish. Tons of other species there. Had a 3-4ft Cuda chase my fly, (the one in the pic). Followed it till the leader was in the guide, but couldn't get an eat from him. And that was just standing on the beach! Everything west of bird key is good. I have found that the water to the east and south towards Siesta Drive doesn't get good water flow. Clarity is usually down and fish are hard to find.
