I run a 4 blade on my 60 hp. I've got it mounted in the top hole on the mounting plate no jackplate. Yes it will run almost out of the water. I loose 5mph with the 4 vs 3 blade prop. If you're not worried about speed the 4 blade is the way to go tons of grip. Way better out of the hole.
