April fools Day, Kayak Redfish

After work kayak trip in the Banana River resulted in a nice redfish.

Capt. Alex caught the red on a topwater plug.

God I love seeing reds blast topwater.

I think he said the plug was a mirrolure - mirromullet.

The lure walked awesome and the fish seemed to like it.

I love watching redfish hit topwater baits. Its awesome watching them come up behind and waiting with inticipation for the bite.

Nice job. It was a beautiful day yesterday. I'm glad you got out on the water.
