I think somebody has poopy pants about you guys selling boats for the prices you are asking. There are people who want this type of epoxy post painted skiff and I don't see any legitimate competition. Kudos on doing something different and again on running a prototype before making a mold.

Funny thing is Engulfed has a skiff from a manufacturer who is selling skiffs for within 2 grand of the Islamorada 18,,but that's OK with him.

Poopy pants! That's funny

If he still drives a Waterman, I think current full retail of that boat is in the mid thirties. Not that that's cheap, but it might be more than a couple grand less than some other comparably rigged boats.

Well ,a Neptune is 56k .Guess it's their top of the line boat as is the Islamorada 18 to Chittum Skiffs right now. So slinging rocks about another builders boat being too expensive is funny when the manufacturer of his skiff is selling one of theirs for darn near the same cost.

Some might say a Waterman is overpriced at mid thirties. It's all about what you can appreciate and afford. It looks like some pretty qualified people are buying Chittums so to each their own.

Congrats on the new skiff Capt Arnold

Bottom line, it's your money, do what you want because when you die it's not going with you. If the boat is right for you then pay whatever you want to pay. You can't put price tags on things you really enjoy. It's a nice boat and I say congrats to the proud new owner.
