East Coast Slammin' 1/2/10
I went with a couple of buddies over to some old stomping grounds on the East Coast (Sebastian). It was cold and windy.......and by cold I am talking in the 40's with wind NNW 15-30. Not the best conditions, but that area never lets me down. We managed a boat slam and were just a tarpon away from a grand slam. All fish were caught on DOA shrimp.

Chris with a nice IRL trout

Where we were fishing....reds are a little tougher to come by.....25 incher

One of several common and swordspine snook on the day......

Went in search of tarpon the best way possible.....but only saw a couple of rollers with no real shots.

A good end of the day pic with by best friend.....

Awesome job, it is always nice to put in your time, even on those days where the conditions are the most desirable and it pay off. I need to head down to Sebastian and fish that area more often.
