Relax Francis...a little buyers remorse maybe?

What's next...outriggers and a transom door?

Snookdaddy 01-24-2013 12:11 PM

Is this the new style hull w/o sponsons or the older style, sponson hull?

Thanks,

Bob

Are you a dealer?

Sal Monella 01-25-2013 08:09 AM

What are some more of the options you have on it?

Nolo Contendere 01-25-2013 08:13 AM

I'm going to look at a Marquesa w/a 48" open array radar on the poling platform tomorrow. If it should somehow fall through, I may be interested.

Sal Monella 01-25-2013 08:22 AM

What about a trailer is it included in the price?

Swank 01-25-2013 09:18 AM

Thin skinned Teddy, do you have any photos you could post?

I am interested.

This skiff is gorgeous! If I could have afforded it I would have bought it months ago, it is guide skiff green with a creamish colored deck and loaded with all the cool toys. It has a brand new ETEC and is on a removable tongue trailer and has been garage kept. It also had every scratch etc, buffed out by HB. I was about 10K$ short so I bought a HPX17V and have been very happy with it but if I had a money tree this would have been mine. If you want a new Marquesa for a huge discount, a new one loaded like this is pushing 60K$ this is your boat! I sold my ECC on this site and never dealt with any idiots!:mav:

hmaadd29 01-27-2013 04:32 PM

you sold an ecc to get a maverick. wow I bet that made somebody very angry

Lstevens 01-28-2013 08:21 AM

Think the point of my post was missed, this guy has a great boat for sale and this used to be a great place to market your skiff for free to the right audience. I have owned more than one of all these boats and they are all great in my opinion, without having all the great manufacturers to choose from we would all suffer because they have all pushed each other to make a better product each year and we as anglers get the real benefits!

I checked with Will Benson, he said to run from sponsons.

Flats50 01-28-2013 03:53 PM

What is wrong with sponsons? I have heard the it makes it a little harder to turn when poling but that would not keep me from buying.

Everything in boating is a trade-off. It amazes me how people can bash things the way they do, in this case sponsons. I have sponsons on my 2001 HB, do I sometimes wish they weren't there, sure. But other times when I am poling over a VERY shallow bar to get to fish I love them. Yes, sponsons add to the shallow draft of boats.

Flats50 01-28-2013 04:20 PM

I have heard that as well and your right about things being a trad-off. As far as looks, I like them.

trlarsen62 02-15-2013 08:52 PM

sold

Flats50 02-16-2013 06:36 PM

Unless you received PMs that we have not heard about, I don't think any of us were against you selling the Boat.

Flatsbuoy 02-20-2013 11:42 AM

The spreader lights and chum churn mounted to a flats boat now makes sense.
