Fly Fly Junkie

This used to be my office... you know... for WORK! Ugh, I got it bad!

My new hobby and I have to say it's elevated my fishing addiction to catastrophic levels... I can't wait to try some of my own creations on the water soon... I got next week off so I'll be tying til my fingers bleed.

For those that fish in the lagoon, what are your top flies of choice... and what color patterns?

Being new, I am guessing a gurgler for topwater for early morning trout, clousers for everything, and toads for reds and black drum?? I can't wait to try and experiment with these new flies but wanted to pick your brains when you pull out a certain fly for certain conditions.
Thanks for any advice

Sounds about right. I recently bought the Borski video and have been tying some of those. Might be worth a look see for you. Borski Flies - DVDs - Borski Ties Flies 2 You have some good looking creations there.

Hey man, I bought disk 1, so when you're ready we can swap!! it has the "Green Zima", "Laid Up Tarpon Fly (No Name), Shark fly, "Chernobyl Crab", and the "Haystack"... My favorite being the haystack as it looks like a good redfish fly too and he uses lots of zonker for action.

Borski is an interesting character, seems he did a drug or two back in the day

My first official fish on fly, and my own hand-tied fly at that...
