Sounds like these people were down there and trying to do good things. Good things that could benefit all of us and lots of other people, rather than get F&*^**d out good fishing areas on technicalities and beauracratic BS.

what are you talking about, they had some biologist with them. And then the boatbuilder was ready to give the the park specialists the money to fix things, not do it themselves.

no this is a totally sepreate item We are glad to see the lodge and facilities up for rebuilding. We all need a good place to stay while there that is safe and comfortable. Ours is a mtter dealing with the health of the flats in Florida bay and the contributing factors in that.

Guys I did not want to turn all of us against each other here. And yes we are trying to fix things ourselves becuase we went through appropriate channels and htey turned a dead ear to us. Can we fix it YES it is a simple fix. As soon as I can get all the real hard materials in my hand to put out to you all I ask is read it and make your own decision. After all who knows more about the area than the people who are in in everyday. We know the subtle changes when they happen and can see their effects. All we want as humans is to fix what humans have screwed up. Hope this picture shows up. It is a shot of Garfield bite. Anyone who fished this years ago knew about the massive schools of redfish that were always there.. This is all you find now. Destroyed flats that no intelligent fish of any kind would go near due to the pressure they are receiving...This is only one small portion of this flat and unfortunatly any where you look it is starting to look like this.. If you can look at this and not agree that somethng must be done than maybe well I dont kno what to say to you then...
