You have no idea what you are talking about I bought it the day Rob posted the ad, I was the first person to even call about it.

Rob had a 17.8 on HB's site for months after I bought mine, because HB didnt update their site, and that was actually Robs first 17.8, which was blue on blue. Mine is white on blue, and he only had it for a few months before he quit guiding.

Really? Where did you see it listed?

I bought the skiff towards the end of january, possibly early feb, I can remeber exactly. Rob called me and told me the boat would be listed because he already knew I was insterested, and I purchased it within days.

But I guess it doesnt matter now, since I have a HB which I got a very good deal on.

What made you choose sterling over HB? Quality?

He my friend, you started it.

No biggie, just getting the facts straight.

Glad you like your boat! Hope you like it as much as I like mine, and I hope it is better made than Tom Carvers sterling.

Rob never pulled the ads down after I bought the skiff either, they are still up to this day if you look for them.

You own a sterling, so one could argue the same about your boat purchase.

I am not talking about Tom, just his old boat, which happend to be a sterling, and I happed to fish off.

Sounds to me like you felt compelled to make that origional post either because you are pissed you couldnt sell you old boat fast enough to buy Robs, if you even really had the chance, which I am sure Rob would have told me you were looking at it when I asked him if anyone else had called yet. I am almost sure you looked at his old boat.

Wow I really should think twice before I post, but I am bad with dates.

Indeed, you are still incorrect about looking at my skiff. I believe
you looked at Robs first boat, which you looked at in 2005, which was his 2004 skiff.

I bought my boat around jan 15th 2006. Mine is the 2005 model.

You do know Rob had identical skiffs, and sold the newer one to me just months after he got it.

He gudied for 4 months out of the skiff, then sold it to me.

Got it?
