Hi all, I am a new member from the "OTHER SIDE" (Bayport). I just purchased a 2003 18' -HB- Waterman w/ 60 hp Merc in really great shape. I LOVE IT. I looked for one in top condition for approx 6 months and finally it came available...and I snatched it up. Pics to follow.

So how did you do this year? We were on fish pretty good through the early season but didn't do a lick of good in June. The weather has sucked the past couple times I've been over there though. I only saw a fish or two before those storms last Saturday chased me home.

The names of all the rocks over there crack me up. I'm lucky none are named after me.

Giudos rock is actually a group of rocks approx 1 mile off shore north of Pine island and in low tide w/ slight chop they are above the water.... but only slightly. The Gulf in these parts is crazy.

Unfortunately this year I only went out afew times (no boat any my friend a tarpon guide was in Alaska) No Poons sighted by me early to Mid May... In the past years off of Pine Island many tarpon ... One year a train of approx 50 to 75 big ones in Rows of 3 and 4 unbelievable. Its a toss of the Dice though. All of them very big 100#+
