| Merc 25hp Tilt Trim
The Merc tiller on my Waterman doesn't have power tilt trim so I bought the kit from Mercury. Now that I have it, I'm wondering if I can install it and how big a job it is. Has anyone installed one? I'm thinking the pump should go in the starboard bin (?). If someone could post some pictures of theirs that would be a help. Thanks. |

I have done 2 of them and they are fairly simple. It should have instructions with it. There is a stainless rod you will have to cut in half and remove. That is the hardest part - fishing it out. There are a few parts you will have to remove and discard. The pump mounts on the bracket outside to starboard. I don't have any pics. You can still get instructions that include photos/diagrams from mercury.
