I had mine done and it looks a lot cleaner than having an old chewed up rail on a nice new skiff.
Thats a good recommendation. I spoke to Jonathan regarding this and he thinks it looks good enough to leave as is but he is going to take another look.

Are you sure you want black Seadek? Maybe you've had it before. I had it on the poling and casting platforms of my Waterman and man it was hot! During summer months it would get too hot for my bare feet. I replaced it with gray Seadek, much better. Just my two cents.

Well work has begun on my 2000 Whipray this morning at Glasser Boatworks. Jonathan, has begun the process of breaking down the skiff this morning. The polling platform, casting platform, push pole holders, pop up running light and the old trolling motor mount has been removed to prepare the skiff for the all the work that will be conducted over then next couple of weeks.

Here we go.

Congrats!

Can't say I've ever seen a trailer with both side guides and poles. Considering the poles are white hints somebody had a tough time seeing in the dark.

Keep those pics coming.

The removal and preparation of the skiff continues today.

Here is a couple of photos of the inside of the bow and stern hatches. As you can see Jonathan has began removing everything in order to prepare the hatches for refinishing.

The GPS, gauges and switches have been removed from the console. You can also see that he is in the process of removing the steering wheel and steering column.
