I'm hoping to get in soon. Baby needs her bling back.

No love in Titusville...

just a little note: two months ago i posted about fixing up my abused hells bay waterman. i needed the starboard and port hatches. in addition i decided to add the livewell between them. i called gordon to get the work done because he had the molds. he charged me over 800 dollars for those components, which i accepted because there was no other way to get it. upon recieving the hatches there were:

spider cracks in all of the molds,
they were not completely gel coated,
they were not trimmed,
they were not sanded,
there was spray over on the non-skid to areas where it doesnt belong,
there was no hardware associated with it or any info on what hardware was needed.
I had to buy all my own hardware,
the hatch heights did not match,

to me, i believe i deserved a little more for my money. I have refrained from posting our entire email correspondance, however i will mention that tom said
"Lane
They are new parts and you have to understand I usually do not sell individual parts and I have to take time away from building customers boats to build parts it is something I will never do again if you are unhappy with the parts I will give you the opportunity to bring them back to me and I will refund your money but I will want them brought back to me today.
Tom"

ohh ya bring them back "today" i live in fort myers.haha .. and why wouldnt he do it again over 800 bucks for what i got was highway robbery...hmmm so if someone cracks a hatch or something they will just be screwed because tom wont do it again.

sorry if this pisses some of you guys off but it is the way it went down. here is just one picture. i have been up in the air if i should post this or not but i was installing the final hinges for a hatch last night and just got really irritated. so...here ya go

Tom did my spidercracks with no issues about 6 months ago. So I had a different experence than you.

If you really want it done right, I guarantee ECC would love to have your business and will make sure you are happy.

Funny you should say that... i took it to ECC to have everything bonded in, also, attached is my bow eye fix that they did a flawless job on. they re-wired most of the boat (organized it) patched holes in the boat from where the hatches were ripped out from the previous owners mishaps and some other misc. fiberglass work. i am actually having them build me a new side console to replace this one with as well. kevin, marc and adam are very good...and they dont care what type of boat you have, they just enjoy working on it. give them a call, if it isnt MAJOR work im sure they will push it on through.

I talked to Kevin about sweetening up my Bonefisher a little while back. I'd love to take it down there and drop it off for a little while. They do great work

I believe the ECC boys have another company (Orange County Boatworks) specifically for updating/repairing your skiffs/flats boats. You can find more information located on the ECC forum.

Several weeks back they were remounting a TM as well as rewiring a Marquesa. The work they did looked great. The boys will treat you right. They are always interested in getting more business in this economy.
