HB Repair

I took Old 33 to the factory for a lil freshening up and was delighted with the results.

Stan kept me informed and the work was top notch.

Dropped off on Wednesday morning, ready two days later. Not a single fishing day missed.

Yeah, pics for sure. Or I could check it out in person and throw some fly line on the new finish, whichever works for you!

My "repair" failed two weeks later.

The gunnel walkboards are add on. The rodholders are made of starboard and required screws to fasten. The screws are causing "pops" on the nonskid surface.

Tom Gordon took the time to look at the skiff and diagnose the issue rather than slapping some gelcoat over the problem and sending me down the road.

At some point I'll send her to Tom for the proper work to be done. It's really a shame that the mod was done at the end of the B.B. era, so a warranty doesnt exist...

Though a little ragged around the edges, she fishes fine.

Yet another "repair" completely failed this weekend. I'm now 3/5. My skiff looks worse now than before it was taken in for a little love. I guess the exposed screwhead is going to be "the look" for 2008.
