Any Bow Hunters?

My new PSE should be here today. Just wanted to pick some brains on arrow rests. I thought for sure I'd be outfitting the bow with a quick shot whisker biscuit, but now I am leaning towards fall away rests. Any input?

What are your thoughts on the biscuit. Any pros or cons?

Bow Rests

I've heard good and bad about the wisker biscuits. Some people say that they mess up your vanes but I've never used one. A lot of folks like the drop away rests too but in the woods I say keep it simple, the fewer moving parts (things to break) the better.

I shoot an NAP quicktune 3000 micro. It's a just a basic rest, easy to adjust, and works great.

I use the small vanes on carbon arrows and haven't had a problem but I don't shoot each arrow a bunch of times it's a hunting rest. Use the right size for the arrows your using also helps. Like I said it's a hunting rest and your arrow will always be in the right spot and not fall off.

I don't really hunt but I shoot a little 3d now and again and shoot a bit in my back yard. I use a whisker biscuit and they do warp the vanes. But I agree on the small vanes, less damage and if you heat them with a blow dryer or hot water they will go close to back to true.

I see some guys that can really shoot use a biscuit, but the ones that really want to do well in 3d or other use a fall away. I think it's a lot like the expensive shot gun theory, where the guy with 30k shotgun gets whipped by the guy with the Walmart special. If you can shoot well anyway, you will probably like the biscuit better in the field. Just one less thing to worry about.
