The Dolphin re-hab

For those that don't frequent the other site,here's the short version.

I wanted to consolidate the thread since it took me awhile to get this far. I've still got to get some cushions for the coffin box, and have thought of edging the bottom lip of the gunnels in the cockpit with teak. But for now, here she is from begining to present. I two toned the deck and cockpit,it's all guide green and matterhorn,and a mix of gel coat and awgrip. Blue Point did my tower and coffin box rail, Thanks to Mark,Gil and Pete! And a special thanks to Tom Gordon for sharing his knowledge and time with me . And thanks to Donnie,Gira,Rick,Mark and Josh at Gordon north ( the glass shop) for putting up with my rookie glass monkey ***.

Killer job Denny! How long did the whole restore take? How many hours do you think you have in on it? After a few looks, I just noticed the pole holders. They are so subtle, but bad ***.

Is the coffin box insulated for a cooler, or just dry storage?

It took me about 40 hrs to clean, glass and sand everything, then about 12 to tape it and have Josh shoot the awgrip,another 8 to re-rig it. The coffin box is just storage, I used to have a big softside cooler that you could stuff into a compartment, I need to find another one. There isn't that much storage on this boat, the front is mostly gas tank, and the rear where I sit has got the battery,ect. That's why I did it this way. Bike Week starts Fri. for meuntil the following Sun. After that, I'll be out alot.

Lookin good Denny. Want me to break her in for ya during bike week? I would offer to put a fish in her but I usually only just find fish, not catch 'em.
