Thank You Power Pole!

I basically destroyed my PP from constant use, especially on hard sand bottom around the inlet getting torqued around by sportfishers, and windy days.

The cylinder popped its seal around the rod and was leaking fluid, basically it takes the thing 20 seconds to go up or down.

So I went to pp's web site, which states clearly warranty does not include commercial use. I am screwed so I think. I give them a call and the next thing I know a new cylider is on its way, free of charge!

Great customer service!

Billy,..you speak with Scott?

Even tho their growth has exploded, they ARE great in the area of customer service.

And to think the technology of yours' & my PP are obsolete compared with their newest products, so being able to take care of us is HUGE.

I had the spike pull out of mine when I burried it in soft mud after about 1 year. I don't remember who I talked to on the phone, but a new spike was at my house within a few days. I think the spike is guaranteed not to break, but mine was completely gone. They took care of me as fast as they could.

Ok so not only did they send me a really nice looking cylinder, much nicer than I had before, but I got it the next day!

What type of fluid do I need to use? ATF?
