| Coat Hanger Trick.
When targeting sailfish and dolphin, I switch to light mono leaders to increase hook up ratios. The rig is quick to make and almost disposable, so you need a bunch of them. Storing them is made easy by hanging them in the closet. Take a coat hanger (plastic won't rust) Double a strip of wide masking tape over the bottom wire. Now stick your hooks through the tape side by side. Tear the hooks out as you rig in the morning. Keep the unsused dry! Soon we will talk about building and fishing the mono rigs.
