Sunday Success!!

Headed out with Derek today in search of another slam. Came up short on the slam, but we were fortunate enough to catch at least a dozen redfish and a dozen trout between us. Derek was on fire catching more redfish than anything else. Snook were in sight, just not cooperative. In the spirit of exploring, we covered a lot of water and found numerous places holding fish. As usual, it's always a pleasure fishing you Derek! And thank you Brandon, we owe ya! Here's some of the highlights of the day:

First red of the day:

a whopper!!:

awhuh. That shore looks like a redfish ta me...:

redfish banana river

brandon - Thanks for the use of the boat! you are the best.

we had a great time exploring south banana river.

conditions were - windy, dirty and cold. despite that we found lots of fish.

black berkley gulps were the bait of choice. you could hardly get a bite unless you had one on. no lie.

we saw a couple giant breeder reds - impressive in that shallow water.

i can't wait to get back out.

aaron thanks for a great day on the water.
