unknown species?

Well this guy was caught out of Marsh Harbor, Bahamas in 1500ft of water. I've never seen it before. It had to long barbels (whiskers) under it's chin that do not show in the picts. I looks similar to a "bobo" I caught in shallow waters on the Pacific side of Panama. Any ideas??

Scott, I'll check with a couple of the guys off of the FS forum and see if anyone comes up with anything. I've never seen anything remotely close to it.

That eye is so cool!

Scott, a marine biologist off the FS board said it looks like a beardfish. If it had barbs on the lower jaw (can't tell from pic) i'm about 100% sure that's what it is. Everything else is spot on with your fish.
