NC Trip

Took a week vacation in Western North Carolina. Here are some pics from the trip, my son really enjoyed seeing Cowboy's, throwing rocks in the creek, fishing and the Castle with "lot of rooms".

Creek water was low, not so good for fishing but good for the little guy, he could traverse the creek and it bacame his new found passion, behind throwing rocks.

Ghost Town in the Sky, Maggie Valley, NC

Fly Shop, Cherokee, NC

Got my Salmon Eggs and #10 hooks there. As far as Fly Shops go I think you all would have been disappointed.

Snacking on Foot Hills Pkwy outside Townsend, Tennessee

Train ride on Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Bryson City, NC

Biltmore (Castle) Asheville, NC

Lookin for Rocks, Jonathan Creek, NC

Looks like a blast. The Biltmore Estate is absolutely amazing. Feels like your in old Europe, not in the middle of modern day Carolina. Takes ya right back to the Gilded Age. And stayin on a creek in the Smoky Mountains? Trip of a lifetime..

Nice trip. I remember going to Maggie Valley when I was a kid. It's a cool place.

Thanks for the comments guys.

The pics pretty much covered what we did, 4 road Trips from the Cabin and 2 days hanging at the Cabin fishing, exploring and throwing rocks.

Jason-> My wife had been there and Cherokee a lot as a kid camping but I had never been, was a nice area. We will go again.

Biltmore was pretty cool, amazing they could build that thing back in 1895.
