Steak and Lobster California Style

Recieved a gift from a friend of some local California Lobster. Picked up some steaks, marinated and bacon wrapped. Steamed the lobster tails, then buttered, seasoned and broiled right after the steaks to add a little color. Side dishes were parmesan broiled tomatoes, and rice pilaf.

Range is ready

I find that Bacon really adds flavor to less fatty cuts of meat. These steaks were angus sirloin tenderloins and very lean.

Roxy in the first pic there is an extension cord running through? You just had your kitchen done! What's up with that?

BTW I am hungry now!

PS-The wife saw your stove. She said it kicks butt!

Actually Jason the only thing that has been done in the kitchen is the bump out at the dining end to match the remodel. The new range is just the beginning of the kitchen remodel. The cabinets need to be redone, then we are having a stainless range hood and backing put in, new counters, new lighting and a slight reconfiguration.
The electrical cord is because of the ground wire not being in the outlet for the new range.

Bill needs to fix that!
