| Pompano... How do you? How do you guys typically cook your pompano? I've tried it several ways and it's never came anywhere near the "best eating fish" claim that so many make. I got a limit last night and want to try it again but need some help! Thanks! |

| cooking pompano i'm with you jimmy. i have always heard what a great eating fish pompano was...but i never liked it when i cooked it. a commercial pompano fishermen taught me you need to leave the skin on then butter and season it. broil on high temp for a few minutes. take out when slightly under cooked and let it cook on the stove top the last few minutes. little lemon juice and perfection. pompano WILL NOT taste good if you over cook even slightly. now we crave Pompano. |
