No tank yet Billy - still planning what I want...still tossing around ideas. Biggest thing is that I want a clean tank (plumbing, lighting, etc.) I see alot of tanks with wires and crap running every where...that's not what I want. Thinking of a 40L at the moment. Closed loop, T5 HO lights, faux rock wall, etc. Want to try to grow some formosa and a clam. Probably be a slow build - kids, going to school, work, etc.

I have a 15g high that I drilled with a closed loop so it looks super clean, and it has an overflow and a sump. I spent $500 on the tank buying and building everything, then ended up not using it. I could hook you up with it for cheap Derek. |

No, thats my 5.5 gallon in my kitchen with the zero edge look. Thats pretty easy too, but really small. I could make you one like it for around $40. I dont have any pics uploaded of the 15h. It is 20L x 10W x 18H. It has a 10 gallon sump too. It would need a pump, but other than that it would work great. You might want to add a wave maker too, like a SCWD. Might be a little loud if you are putting it in a bedroom. |

You have a couple cool options. You could do a bowfront corner tank, or you could put a hexagon tank in the corner. I have a 60g hexagon tank I am getting ready to setup in the corner of my dining room. I really like the look of unique tanks, not many people have nice reefs in these shape tanks. 92 gallon bowfront 48 x 34 x 24 ![]() Our 60 hex check out Aqueon If you want to go custom there are many options, but it will cost you quite a bit more, but there are some really nice custom tanks! If you do use Starfire Glass. |
