Here are a couple top down shots at NIGHT, showing polyp extension on the nocturnal feeding Acropora species corals I keep. Night time extension is a great indicator of system health!

Rose Acropora Millepora

Blue Acropora Millepora

White Acropora Lokani

Thanks Larry! When I am not fishing, eating or sleeping, I am reefing!

It really isnt that hard, basic chemistry knowledge and some help for an expereinced reefer and its ezpz. Plus you got all the good shops in o-town......go to the place off Orange Blossom Trail "World Wide Corals". Best reef shop I have ever been too! It will get you hooked!

Just got my new centerpiece fish, a pair of Madder Seaperch's Pseudoanthia Dispar.

These fish are direct from Bora Bora!

Nice tank Billy, I am just getting started. My tank is almost 2 months old and I am hooked! I might have to call you for some advice.

Wow Chris for two months that looks really good! All your zoanthids look really happy, that is a great indicator you have good water quality!

Call me anytime you like. I can talk about the facets of reef keeping longer than I can fishing! Make sure you keep up with water changes, thats the most important thing I have found with new systems.

What type of salt are you using? Or are you using seawater? Are you using Kalkwasser or anything else for calcium and alkalinity maintenance? What type of lighting and skimmer too?

How big is it? I cant tell from the pic!

I go to Marine land and use their water, it comes from some type of filtration process, its a bit low with calcium and ph so I add some Ocean Blend and let it mix for a while with a pump. I have a protien skimmer but no clue what size it is. As for tank specs its a 65 gallon with about 60 or so lbs. of Live rock.

For Lighting I have a power compacts with 2 96watt bulbs

Do you have any fish in there?

My finace works at Amazing Aquariums in South Daytona if you need any hard to find corals, they have them.

Let me know if you ever want to swap frags....I got some stuff you can have for free if you come get it......I will give you a big piece of my Red Montipora Capricornis which is an SPS, but will do good under power compacts.
