I don't like Costas anymore. II have a brand new pair of TripleTails and I've worn them twice. I prefer Smiths/Action Optics. The only pair of Costas I have liked are the Blackfins. They are pretty nice, but the lenses all seem to go to hell after a while and I haven't seen a Costa frame yet that can keep a piece of rubber on

Anything I can get for around $20! Don't have to worry much about breaking, bending, scratching or losing. Just buy another pair.........

I am on Costa's guide program here in the UK.
I use the new "Permit" frame, I have 3 pairs , copper with silver mirror , amber with green mirror and sunrise, the contrast is amazing.

Everyone has thier favorite , and everyones eyes react differently to different lenses, I shot a film last year for the wintson film festival, and left my costas at the base camp, and used my friends maui jims, I just couldn't see anything out of them, he coudn't see out f my costas, so I think its all down to the make up of your eye's.

Hey guys. Just wanted to drop some info on this thread. I got a pair of prescription Costa Permits from RXsunglass.com and they are great. They almost hold too well to my face. I am so used to glasses slipping that I often start reaching up to correct them after a sudden movement. So far so good with high marks to the folks at rxsunglass.
